Memoir '44: Equipment Pack

The Memoir '44 Equipment Pack is a major expansion to the Memoir ‘44 game system and fills a game box as big as the original board game. 186 plastic figures in total, the Equipment Pack includes: 108 figures from 4 WWII nations, including French Infantry, Finnish Ski Troops, Italian Artillery and Polish Cavalry; 24 new pieces of Artillery (Flak-88’s, “Long Tom” Big Guns, M7 Priests and “Screaming Meemies” Nebelwerfers); new Beach Landing equipment that includes 6 amazing Hobart’s Funnies, complete with accessories; 6 Snipers; and scores of new Armor, Vehicle and Special Weapon Assets, including some Elefant Tank Destroyers, Kübelwagen Command cars, and M2 Mortars and Machine Guns. 

These figures can be deployed over many of the existing Memoir ‘44 scenarios and are also heavily featured in the 10 Standard, 2 Breakthrough and 4 Overlord new scenarios that come in the Equipment Pack. A 32 page Rules booklet and 25 Summary cards complement this pack. This expansion requires at least one copy of the Memoir ‘44 base game. Many of its expansions are required to enjoy most of the included scenarios. We highly recommend that, for visual accuracy, players at minimum own the Terrain Pack and the Winter/Desert board.

Memoir '44: Campaign Book Volume 2, the second hardcover supplement for the Memoir '44 game system, contains 46 new scenarios and builds upon the campaign rules introduced in Campaign Book Volume 1 to let players experience scenarios in succession, with the outcome of each battle impacting the next.

These 46 scenarios are grouped into eleven different campaigns, with two set in the Pacific Theater "Island Hoppers", a Grand Campaign covering the progressive re-conquest of the Pacific by the Allied forces following the attack on Pearl Harbor, and "Bicycle Blitzkrieg", the Japanese invasion of Malaya in 1941-1942 and the first Breakthrough campaign for Memoir '44: "Breakthrough Normandy", covering the Allied offensive in Normandy from D-Day through August 1944.

Two other campaigns "Fall of Poland", depicting the desperate resistance of Polish forces against the German Blitzkrieg of September 1939, and "Air Aces", a campaign following the exploits of famous air aces throughout World War II round up the Theaters of Operations covered in the book.

Memoir '44: Campaign Book Volume 2 comes with a punchboard containing fifty game tokens and requires the Memoir '44 base game as well as theater-specific expansions for some of the campaigns, specifically Memoir '44: Pacific Theater, Memoir '44: Air Pack, Memoir '44: Terrain Pack and Memoir '44: Breakthrough

Small World Underground includes 15 fantasy-themed races of creatures along with 21 special powers. Each player will control several creature/power combinations over the course of the game – spending points to draft these combinations – and will use those creatures to claim control of various subterranean locations. Some locations hold relics or are designated as "places of power", and monsters must first be conquered before a player can claim these special benefits. At the end of each turn, a player scores points for the regions he holds, and the player with the most points at game end wins. Small World Underground is playable on its own, but can be combined with other Small World releases. This product will ship on July 6th, 2011.

Fictionaire is a new quiz card game from Days of Wonder that gives a fresh twist to this classic genre.

In Fictionaire, players make up a bogus definition or fake answer for a word or question asked by the game’s host, trying to trick him or her into believing that their answer is correct. To earn points, players either choose the right definition - or get someone to pick their answer. If a player bluffs someone into choosing the wrong answer, they earn a bonus point.
